The story behind the print
Wherever I've lived or traveled, from Connecticut to France, New York, Tulsa and St. Louis, I seem to find a place where I encounter these wonderfully elegant birds, or others very much like them.
Perhaps that's inevitable. I've always loved walking along rivers.
This carving is a celebration of their distinctive silhouettes, with a little whimsical departure of my own.
